Lahari Foundation was established in 2012 by a group of dedicated social workers in Hyderabad, Telangana. Inspired by the vision of a self-reliant and equitable India, the founders began with a single medical camp serving 200 patients. Today, we have grown into a multi-program organization touching over 12,000 lives annually.
The name Lahari means "wave" in Telugu — a wave of positive change, rippling outward from every community we serve. We believe transformation starts small but spreads far.
Our work is grounded in three pillars: Women Empowerment, Healthcare Access, and Digital Inclusion — because we know that sustainable change requires addressing multiple dimensions of poverty and exclusion simultaneously.
